African Green Store Network

Vision, Governance & Community of Practice

A pan-African institutional coalition uniting 33+ vocational colleges across 13 countries to transform agricultural training, empower rural youth, and secure food sovereignty.

From Regional Pilot to Continental Network

The African Green Store Network (AGSN) was founded through collaborative initiatives spearheaded by GIZ, the Centre for Rural Development (SLE) at Humboldt University of Berlin, and pioneering directors of practical agriculture colleges in Cameroon, Nigeria, Kenya, Malawi, and Burkina Faso.

Recognizing that agricultural technical vocational education and training (A-TVET) is the engine of rural employment and climate resilience, AGSN bridges national borders to standardize curricula, promote teacher mobility, and advance agroecological business incubation.
